1. Service overview

UploadFrog is an image and video hosting platform. Depending on how you use it, you may:

• Upload media as a guest (temporary storage) or as a registered user (library storage).
• Organize media into folders and galleries.
• Comment on and vote on public posts (where enabled).
• Invite folder moderators and manage folder privileges (registered users).

The site may display third-party advertising (Google AdSense) on public pages. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, advertising consent is collected through Google’s certified Privacy & messaging CMP (IAB TCF), as required by AdSense. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

The service is intended for individuals aged 18 or older. By using UploadFrog you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate registration information and notify us if you believe your account is compromised.

You may delete your account and content from your profile. Deletion requires email confirmation via a one-time link before the account is permanently removed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading or posting content, you grant UploadFrog a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, transmit, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the service (including thumbnails, previews, and public pages you make available).

You represent that you have all rights needed to upload the content and to grant this license, and that the content does not infringe others’ rights or break the law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use UploadFrog to:

• Upload or share illegal content, including child sexual abuse material.
• Violate intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Upload malware, exploit the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Spam, harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Post obscene, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful material.
• Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
• Scrape, overload, or disrupt infrastructure in a way that harms the service or others.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may apply automated and manual checks (including reCAPTCHA and rate limits) to reduce abuse.

6. Moderation & removal

Folder owners may appoint moderators with limited privileges on that folder. Moderators and owners must still follow these Terms.

UploadFrog may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms, applicable law, or a risk to users or the platform. We are not obligated to pre-screen all content.

7. Availability & limits

Features, storage limits, file-size caps, and rate limits may change. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, capacity, or security reasons. We do not guarantee continuous availability or that particular files will remain online forever.

You should keep your own backups of important media. Temporary guest uploads are deleted automatically after the published retention period.

8. Our intellectual property

UploadFrog’s name, logos, software, design, and branding remain our property. You may not copy or reuse them except as needed to use the service, or with our prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not control user-generated content and do not warrant its accuracy, legality, or fitness for any purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UploadFrog and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, certain consumer rights in the EU/EEA).

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the European Union / European Economic Area, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply where required.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
